THE VILLAGE OF CHESTER presently has 5 elected commissioners who each serve a 3 year term. The mandate of the commission is to represent the electors of the Village of Chester as regards the Chester Volunteer Fire Department . We also own and operate the Chester Lido Pool and Public Washrooms, as well as own and maintain the Jib Lot. We cover the operational cost for the street lights throughout the village, and the hanging flowers and wreaths. We hold regular monthly meeting every second Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm at our office located at 27 Pleasant St (corner of Pleasant and King). The public is encouraged to attend. We also have an annual General Meeting in early June to elect new commissions and inform rate payers of the past years activities. OFFICE HOURS: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 1:00
